Full Time – 36.75 hours per week, all year round

Permanent position

Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland just a few hundred metres from the sandy beaches of Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.

The role of Waking Night Attendant involves remaining awake in order to be responsible for the supervision and care of our young people at night, particularly ensuring that night time routines follow pre-agreed strategies and procedures.

The shifts for this post are from 9.30pm to 8.00am including weekends, all year round. You will be required to work 3 or 4 shifts in a row, which will total 14 shifts in 28 days.

For this post you will need to be willing to commit to achieving Residential Childcare QCF Level 3 within 2 years of beginning employment at the school, as well as the Understanding Safe Handling of Medication Level 2 qualification.
