Office and Safeguarding Administration Apprentice

£6.50 per hour

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Fixed term for 12 months or until end of apprenticeship course


We are seeking to appoint an apprentice to provide administrative support to the Trust Safeguarding, Attendance, Exclusion and Admissions Lead, as well as some general admin support to the TSAT Central teams.

The successful candidate will be involved in arranging training for Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment and other training provided by the Safeguarding Lead. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to progress into a training role.

Requirements
Main duties will include: -

Keeping accurate records and information on Safeguarding training completed across all our sites.
Booking venues, sending invitations and arranging catering for training courses.
Ensuring resources required for training are produced and sending out relevant resources and certificates before/after training sessions.
Arranging termly Designated Safeguarding Lead forums, sending out agenda, taking minutes.
Support meetings administration.
Requesting data on behalf of the Safeguarding Lead for Governor Meeting’s.
Organisation of dates and times for the Safeguarding Lead undertaking SCR audits.
Research for the Safeguarding Lead to contribute to the Safeguarding Weekly Bulletin.
Support with TSAT Attendance newsletter/bulletin.


Office duties:

Answering phones
Supporting the HR team with producing induction packs
General office responsibilities
Greeting visitors
Organising refreshments for meetings
Managing meeting room bookings
Ordering stationery
Any other duties to ensure smooth and efficient running of the office
Housekeeping
Supporting travel arrangements


The Thinking Schools Academy Trust is a successful family of schools that work together to improve the life chances of all its children and young people.
