My Client is in an exciting period of expansion. The future is definitely good, and to enhance this they are now looking to recruit a Quality Improvement Manager to take responsibility for implementing a Quality Management System and associated improvement projects that deliver continuous improvement.
You will work closely with Managers and staff and collaborate with safety and environmental colleagues to deliver an integrated system.
The Role: Quality Improvement Manager
Provide a proactive and efficient quality advisory service.
Ensure the QMS system is improved and maintained.
Integrate the systems to deliver an efficient total management system.
Ensure implementation, monitoring and reporting of KPI's.
Identify and report any issues and risks that affect service delivery.
Design and lead the delivery of a system of inspections, calibrations and audits
To be responsible for the Board's SHEQ policy and annual objectives and targets.
Report to the Board and Senior Managers on a monthly and annual basis.
Comply with environmental instructions and identify potential risks.
To liaise with all staff, contractors and the supply chain to improve efficiencies in all processes, eliminating single points of failure wherever possible.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Quality Improvement Manager
CQI
Lead Auditor ISO9001
Knowledge of ISO 14001, OSAS18001
Extensive experience in implementing and managing an integrated Quality, Safety and Environmental management system.
Proven experience in delivering improved service delivery through the implementation of ISO compliant management systems
Experience of working in a variety of Industries ie: Engineering / Construction background
Experience of delivering change
Good communication and influencing skills
Strong commercial awareness
Excellent rapport builder
Able to participate in an On Call Rota
Full clean driving licence and own car.
