Site MEICA Engineer

£37250 - £41500 per annum + Company van

We are now seeking an MEICA Site Engineer to undertake technical deliverables working under direction from the Project Manager(s) and Senior Commissioning Engineer, in accordance with the requirements set down by the Lead MEICA Engineer.

Reporting to the Senior Commissioning Engineer, key deliverables will include:

Ensure that commissioning and handover plans are complete and robust for each project,
Assist in ensuring quality of deliverables meet business and regulatory requirements ,
Help to drive technical excellence in the commissioning of plant,
Assist on delivery of standards and approaches to delivery,
Analysis of options and selection of technical solutions as appropriate,
Design review in accordance with legislation, standards and specifications,
On-site inspections and surveys,
Undertake commissioning responsibilities adhering to all relevant Health and Safety Legislation under direction set out by Senior Commissioning Engineer,
On-site inspection of works in accordance with standards and specifications,
On site testing and commissioning,
Assist Project Managers in preparation of scheme commissioning programmes.

To be successful in this role you should possess excellent technical knowledge and possess the ability to work as part of a team and to co-ordinate and interface with other engineering disciplines as well as other departments within the organisation, project stakeholders and contractors. You will have a proven track record and knowledge of water treatment processes, instrumentation systems and control systems including PLCs, HMIs and telemetry systems.

Candidates should hold an ONC/HNC, Degree or equivalent in Engineering or similar discipline. You should also be a member of an engineering institute and ideally be working towards a level of professional registration. Experience in the design and specifications for water related projects including treatment plants, pump station, pipelines would be beneficial.
