The Role

A Programme Manager will be responsible for the successfully delivering of the businesses programme in addition to coaching and mentoring their project delivery team. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role defines the delivery strategy for the programme of implementing GForces industry leading digital automotive software platform. The responsibilities include effective planning and control of the programme and all projects within the programme throughout their life cycles, ensuring detailed plans with milestones are communicated and all key stakeholders aligned to the successful delivery of the programme objectives.



Key Requirements

= Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action

= Establishing and building relationships with GForces global clients to deliver a programme across multiple markets and regions.

= Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the programme, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programmes and corporate, technical and specialist standards

= Maintaining the programme Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and monitoring programme and project delivery costs and benefits realised

= Managing communications with all stakeholders

= Managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between individual projects within the programme

= Managing risks to the programme's successful outcome

= Working with other Programme Managers to identify industry best practices of programme and project delivery processes to support a single delivery methodology and drive efficiencies

= Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise

= Reporting the progress of the programme at regular intervals to the Project Controller

= This role may require some travel.



Key Relationships

= Reporting directly into the Head of Operations.

= Establish key relationships with the Sales streams for the market/region.

= Establish key relationships with key stakeholders within the programme delivery process (Design, CSS, Second Line Support, Training).

= Supporting the Product Managers and Product Owners by providing insight into market/regional requirements for the software and help to drive the product roadmaps and deliver the client requirements



The Candidate

= Experience of management of high-profile complex programmes across the entire project life cycle.

= Degree level or equivalent desirable.

= Commercial and business understanding of key project drivers.

= Strong presentation, interpersonal and intercultural skills with the ability to delivery projects with impact and influence.

= Knowledge of project delivery methodologies is essential (PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent required).

= Strong managerial experience, demonstrating the ability to lead a team to deliver successful outcomes for all programmes and projects.

= Strong External networking capabilities

= Self-starting and self-confidence are a must.

= Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented.

= Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

= High attention to detail.

= Proven ability to work and effectively prioritise in a dynamic and decentralised work environment
