ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF LEARNING
(Non-teaching – Term Time only)
Salary: Trust Scale Point 6-19 pro-rata
Starting point is dependent on skills and experience
£19,698 pa-£25,481 pa FTE to be paid pro rata at £15,866.34 pa to £20,524.44 pa
Term Time 37 hours per week: 8.00am - 4.00pm (Mon-Thurs) 8.00am – 3.30pm (Friday)
We seek to appoint an organised and highly motivated Assistant Director of Learning to join this popular and successful mixed secondary school. Key skills will include the ability to:
· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and ICT skills
· Work successfully with the Director of Learning to support the progress and welfare of students within one of our 4 dynamic Houses
· Work independently and as part of a team
· Foster a strong sense of pride and commitment toward the young people in your care
Key tasks for this varied role will include:
· Monitoring student progress
· Support for student management, including conflict resolution and anger-management counselling
· Raising student attendance
