We are looking to recruit a highly experienced industry professional that is self-motivated and a team player to carry out work based assessments in preparation for Apprentices readiness for End Point Assessment.

To be able to demonstrate a high level of current industry legislation, knowledge, skills and behaviours, to support and develop Apprentices milestones and progression and the ability to set individualised development plans to enable Apprentices to meet all requirements of the Apprenticeship Gateway for End Point Assessment.

Be able to demonstrate effective and efficient communicational links with employers of Apprentices to provide additional training opportunities, to meet the Apprentices individualised training plan.

Managing a case load of around 40 students, the post holder will provide onsite mock End Point Assessment of learners’ practical skills, knowledge and assist them in building industry specific working practices and behaviours., In line with meeting End Point Assessment Evidence requirements.

The successful applicant must have industry experience in both horticulture and Landscaping, hold excellent verbal and written communication skills. A level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy is essential as is a Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant curriculum area. An A1/V1 qualification would be an advantage or at least the willingness to achieve relevant assessor and verifier awards. A DTLLS teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
