Are you a skilled administrator with a sound understanding and experience of working in a complex environment? Are you seeking an exciting opportunity working in a unique and rewarding job role? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to join the School of Computing where you will provide a broad range of administrative support for students and academic staff ensuring an excellent student experience and a positive learning and teaching environment for the School’s undergraduate programmes.

In this unique role, you will supervise two Student Support Assistants and a Receptionist who, in addition provide administrative support for the School.

As a Senior Programme Coordinator you will:

Provide a broad range of administrative services in order to deliver a positive student experience
Work as a senior member of the team, supervising the workload of the student administration team and enabling the effective operation of the office
Manage the assessment and examination process for undergraduate programmes, ensuring that all University and School policies are applied consistently
Oversee the annual timetabling process for academic staff and students, in order to facilitate the smooth running of taught modules
To succeed in this role you will have:

GCSE grades in English and Maths at Grade C or above or the equivalent qualification and be educated to A level or the equivalent
A detailed knowledge and understanding of undergraduate and postgraduate processes and procedures
Experience of supervising and motivating colleagues and experience of managing peak workloads (for others and self)
