Part-time or full-time teacher of Computer Science - from September 2020

The King’s School is a selective co-educational boarding and day school of 860 pupils in years 9-13. The school, dating back to 597 and situated in the heart of the historic cathedral city of Canterbury, has an outstanding reputation as one of the country’s leading independent schools.

A well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate is sought to teach Computer Science to GCSE and A level, part-time (it is possible to combine teaching offered in a different subject to increase the role to full-time). There are also many opportunities for involvement in the wider pastoral and co-curricular life of this large boarding school.

The post is suitable for someone with experience or new to the profession, with or without a teaching qualification, but coding experience is essential.
