Fixed Term CARE HOME MANAGER FAVERSHAM

ROLLING FIXED TERM POSITION, INITIALLY FOR 3 MONTHS

SALARY - £32,000 p.a.

HOURS - 37.5 per week and on call rota

SHIFT - Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service, and will include weekends and evening shifts

About the Role:



We are looking for an experienced and professional Home Manager to immediately join our team on a rolling fixed term contract, initially fixed for 3 months.

Kent Autistic Trust provides a range of services for people with autism including residential care, supported living, day opportunities and family support.

Our establishment in Faversham is a purpose-built care home providing personal care and accommodation for up to six adults with an autistic spectrum condition.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can provide a secure home in which complex and challenging service users can express their individuality through meaningful activities to maximise their individual and unique development needs.

You will have a proven track record in managing a residential care service environment. Applicant should have achieved NVQ Level 5.

You will be a team player who is willing to support, develop and train a great care team, working closely with the Regional Manager in order to achieve our quality vision.

The responsibilities of the Care Home Manager include, but are not limited to:

o Managing and co-ordinating day-to-day activities within the service
o Ensuring good practice within services
o Managing team and individuals
o Establishing and maintaining effective communication
o Participating in the On-Call system.
o Working flexibly to meet the needs of the service, carrying out shifts if necessary.
