Are you an administrator with strong customer service experience, adept at managing your time and using your initiative?

The Curriculum and Assessment team in the Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) is looking for a Course Assistant to join them to provide administrative support across a broad range of activities.

Liaising with stakeholders across the two universities, Kent and Canterbury Christ Church, and NHS partners, you will play a key role in supporting curriculum and assessment work and in ensuring a high-quality student experience for KMMS's aspiring doctors.

As Course Assistant you will:

deliver all administration associated with the organisation and delivery of the medical curriculum and the student experience
support the assessment and examination processes
maintain accurate curriculum information and respond to enquiries
enter and update electronic student, programme and assessment records

To be successful in this role you will need:

GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, or other means of demonstrating a competent level of literacy and numeracy
previous administrative experience in an education or healthcare setting.

demonstrable experience of dealing with difficult or complicated queries that can require careful attention and tact to resolve
a desire to provide and facilitate a high level of customer service
