The Role
National Express Transport Solutions (NETS), has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Supplier Relations Executive. We’re an award winning provider of transport who are rapidly growing and innovating in the Private Hire market.

Our successful and growing Service delivery team is fundamental in positioning us as the leading provider for Ground Transport across the UK. We’re looking for an experienced sales administrator, customer focussed and commercially minded team player who will bring new ideas and build strong, lasting relationships with our suppliers.
Profile
We work with over 500 audited and approved coach and bus operators across the UK to deliver a world class service to our customers. Part of the role will include working closely with our parent company, National Express, to strengthen these relationships and procure a solution that is beneficial across the business. We’re looking for someone with strong negotiation skills, a customer focussed mind-set, and the ability to recognise opportunities for improving processes and efficiencies across the department.

This role is based in our head office in Gillingham, you will be responsible for all administrative functions that support the Service Delivery Team Leader with delivering the most profitable and effective services to both our customers and the business.

To be considered for this role you should be able to demonstrate good communication and negotiation skills, have an eye for detail and be able to work on your own initiative. In return you will be offered a competitive salary and company benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Develop supplier relationships and maintain customer focussed services.
Assist in the selection and onboarding of new suppliers.
Effectively communicate with suppliers to resolve queries and issues.
Assist the department in the collation and reporting of information to assess and evaluate suppliers.
Maintain department records and undertake any general departmental administration.
Building key relationships with other departments within the business to ensure collaborative working.
Support with complaint management.
Monitoring of CRM systems and communication channels, to effectively manage workflow and tasks.
Procure mutually beneficial commercials with suppliers through successful negotiation.

Excellent telephone manner being able to demonstrate first class customer service
Strong office IT skills will be essential, along with prior experience in negotiating and managing suppliers.
