Do you have what it takes to create magical experiences?
Can you take people on unforgettable storytelling journeys?
Can you find a silver lining in a rainy day?

If so, we want to hear from you!

Globally and nationally wildlife is in steep decline. We appear to be reaching critical tipping points around the loss of biodiversity as well as around climate change, both being interlinked. Human society cannot prosper without wildlife and healthy ecosystems.

Kent’s wildlife needs to be restored to much higher levels. We can no longer allow common things to become rare. We can only do this by restoring large-scale habitat from degraded land. Doing this will contribute to solving global problems. But we won’t be able to do this unless we publicly aspire to a higher level of impact and show that we can deliver this.

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic tour guides to lead our new programme of Wilder Kent Safaris.

You will create and deliver the experiences that tell the unique stories of some of the most special wildlife places in Kent. Taking advantage of the innovative ecological management techniques we are using, including beaver, bison and iron age pigs, you will inspire and engage people through the use of clever and enthralling storytelling.

You will be responsible for leading small groups on half day and full day walking tours at three of Kent Wildlife Trust’s reserves, although primarily based at either Oare Marshes or the Blean. Through your excellent conversational skills and ability to engage audiences of all ages you will ensure customers receive the best experience.
