Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Are you an experienced growth marketer with a history of delivering complex lead generation campaigns, using a digital marketing toolset? Do you want to be part of a global charitable organisation that connects those who can afford to give with communities in need?

As part of CAF’s Marketing Team you will work across the organisation, supporting the delivery of our work and mission.

The Senior Marketing Manager for Growth and Retention will lead the audiences marketing team in the development, deployment and reporting of lead generation, customer retention and cross-selling activities for all of our key customer audiences.

You will already be highly experienced in the use of digital marketing channels for targeting potential new customers and building awareness of our products and services, with measurable outcomes. You will take ownership of the audience marketing within CAF, supported by colleagues in the Design, Digital and Brand Development areas within Marketing Team. You will manage the marketing managers for each audience, supporting them to manage their respective line reports, campaigns and projects.

You may have experience working in financial services, online retail or charitable marketing, or be looking for a move away from agency life. This is a senior role that will give you wide access and accountability to senior stakeholders at a head of department and director level.

You will have a detailed understanding of data-driven decision-making and insight generation.

You will report directly to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for the effective and efficient use of the audience marketing budgets. This will include activities that relate to media buying, paid social media and SEM ad spend, as well as the development of appropriate reports and collateral.

An academic foundation, to degree level, in marketing, digital marketing or business science is required. Ideally you will have experience in similar roles, at least one year of which has included line management. Your experience would also include work for or with digital marketing specialists (SEO, PPC or similar) and experience of managing these relationships. An advanced knowledge of Google Analytics is a must, as is a full appreciation of opportunity funnel design, nurture and nudge campaigns. A foundational understand of user experience design will be an advantage but is not a prerequisite.

Knowledge of the philanthropic or charitable sectors would provide you with a valuable foundation but is not a requirement. A passion for being part of building a better society for all will keep you energised and connected with our shared values.

Initial interviews will be conducted over video (Zoom) with short-listed candidates invited to either an in person or video (Zoom) panel interview. Panel interview candidates will be expected to produce a short presentation if successful in their initial interview. Please make the recruiting manager aware of any challenges you may face in the use of video conference technology.
