Payroll & Information Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Kent College’s HR and Payroll department in the capacity of Payroll & Information Assistant.

Location: Dartford

Salary: £21,000.00 per annum pro rata

Hours: 22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (FTE 0.6)

Reporting to the Payroll & Information Manager, you will support all aspects of the monthly payroll and pension processing, assisting with the production of Payroll and HR related reports, providing analysis of the data where required.

To be successful in this role you will have a proactive approach, with a customer service focus, excellent numeracy skills with experience of data analysis within excel and a strong eye for detail. You will also be a team player with excellent IT, organisational and administration skills with the ability to remain calm whilst under pressure and to maintain focus and deliver with accuracy and on time, whilst maintaining compliance with both the College and legislative requirements.

Experience of administering pensions (particularly TPS and LGPS) would be an advantage, however, it is not essential as full training will be given.
