Are you a motivated and proactive team member, with the ability to undertake a range of general administrative duties? Do you have excellent data management skills? If so, this role could be ideal. You will support the work of the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) and Knowledge Exchange Concordat (KEC) in our Knowledge Exchange & Innovation directorate. In this role you will be responsible for keeping all knowledge exchange data systems up to date and accurate, working closely with the Divisions, professional service departments, and wider Research & Innovation Teams. You will have a strong eye for detail, good data input skills and good communications skills.
As Knowledge Exchange Assistant you will:
Provide accurate data reports to support the Director of Knowledge Exchange in aiding their work e.g. monthly data monitoring
Review and develop accurate methods of data collection and presentation for the University’s KEF and KEC submission, evolving methods as required, to ensure continued effectiveness and efficiency of the information gathering process
Provide administrative support in aiding KEI’s delivery of their activities as assigned by the Knowledge Exchange Coordinator and Knowledge Exchange & Engagement Officer, to ensure the timely and accurate submission of both the KEF and the KEC
Support the Knowledge Exchange Coordinator in all administrative aspects of relevant KEI events e.g. coordinate internal and external engagement such as webinars, focus groups, surveys etc. to feed into the annual KEF and KEC submission
To be successful in the role you will have/be:
Educated to A-level or equivalent with GCSE English and maths
Prior experience of supporting multiple teams in a busy office environment
Excellent experience of handling, interpreting and presenting data
High level of IT skills including Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook
