Are you looking for a role where you can use your expert technical knowledge, programming, design and development skills to support a Division’s e-Learning provision? The Division for the Study of Law, Society and Social Justice are recruiting for a Digital Learning Technologist to manage the development and implementation of learning technology policies, models and procedures.

As a team player with strong collaborative skills, the successful candidate will support divisional academic staff to ensure the successful design, development, delivery and evaluation of the curricula to incorporate innovative and effective technology enhanced learning solutions.

As a Digital Learning Technologist you will:

Support academic staff in the realisation of curricula and assessments through the use of the appropriate platforms
Identify, propose and deliver suitable training opportunities to enable academic staff to develop their understanding and use of Technology Enabled Learning (TEL) and their digital capabilities
Support academic staff to develop and deliver opportunities for students to learn and to enhance their digital capabilities
Take responsibility for the day to day operation and maintenance of TEL systems for the Division to provide stable platforms for digital learning and teaching
Analyse and report on the use of TEL within the division for the Senior Management Team to inform and influence strategic aims and operational processes
To be successful in this role you will have/be:

Educated to A Level or equivalent, with GCSE Maths and English (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
Technology related qualification or equivalent experience
Experience of managing and delivering projects on time and to agreed specifications
Experience of writing user guides or similar instructional or reference material
Ability to document work thoroughly on a technical level and for user consumption
Experience of designing and delivering end user training and IT support
