Are you a confident administrator who is highly organised and able to manage a wide ranging, and at times heavy, workload? Are you be able to juggle priorities without compromising on the quality and accuracy of your work? If so, and you are looking for part-time work (28 hours per week), then this could be an ideal opportunity for you to join our Reward and Recognition Team in the central Human Resources & Organisational Development directorate.

The role will see you providing accurate and efficient clerical and administrative support to the team, ensuring that it can function effectively in the delivery of its work, as well as dealing with multiple stakeholders in the University. The ability to work in a calm and methodical way with a strong focus on accuracy will be key; previous experience in an HR role is desirable but not essential.

As Reward Coordinator you will:

provide general support in the planning for, and actions arising from, all reward committees;
support the University’s job evaluation process;
maintain central HR records for Visiting and Honorary academics;
undertake a range of general and administrative activities, including project administration, acting as a point of contact for the team responding and resolving queries where possible.
To succeed in this role you will have:

GCSE in English or equivalent;
an ECDL or the ability to demonstrate proficient IT skills (particularly in MS Office applications);
experience in a service based environment providing committee servicing and administrative support to the team;
excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The Reward and Recognition team sits under the Talent & Organisational Development function within the central Human Resources & Organisational Development directorate. This is in recognition of the need to house all development, reward and recognition activity together to ensure joined up mutually supportive strategies around performance, reward and recognition.
