My client has a great opportunity for a 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer to join them at a time where they will invest, grow and transform their business to provide a better service to customers old and new.

The 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer, working in a Service Desk environment, will report into the Technical Services Manager interfacing and providing exceptional service to all those who require support within the business.

We are looking for a Technical Support engineer to be responsible for providing high quality operational and technical application, as well as systems support to my client's end users on a day to day basis. You will work with the Tech support team to deliver superior customer service aligned to my client's values and aim to consistently exceed all SLAs, SLOs, KPIs and metrics. As a team you will ensure a consistent level of service is provided to all circa 212 locations 24x7x365 (as appropriate to location).



The Technical Support Engineer will:

· Assist in the process of resolving incidents and Service Requests, in a fast-paced, ITIL compliant organisation

· Offer subject matter expertise where appropriate

· Promote a DevOps Culture, including immediacy, teamwork, and the creation of business value in day-to-day work.



Skills and Experience:

· ITIL Foundation-level knowledge

· Technically strong with hands on capability

· Solid communication and diplomacy skills with a strong ability to persuade and influence

· Experienced working with, troubleshooting and improving Windows Server technologies, Windows 10 and Office 365

· Understanding of telephony, including mobile devices and soft telephony (VOIP)

· Basic understanding of Wi-Fi and networking

· Strong documentation skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy

· Demonstrable understanding of acceptance testing and effective gatekeeping to defined standards for service management
