Junior Administrator
Job Purpose:
To maintain office operations by receiving and distributing communications, maintaining supplies and equipment, picking-up and delivering items, serving colleagues.
Duties:
* Forward information by receiving and distributing communications, collecting and mailing correspondence, copying information.
* Maintain supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating requirements, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, stocking items, delivering supplies to work stations.
* Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting failures, calling for repairs, monitoring equipment operation, monitoring and purchasing meter fund.
* Provide cover for receptionist, answering phones, dealing with queries, forwarding messages.
* Enhance organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
* Ensure outgoing post is prepared in a timely manner.
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of C grade in GCSE Maths and English.
Office Experience - desirable but not essential.
Office hours are 8.30-5.30, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
Salary: Subject to Experience
