South East Refurbishments Ltd is a well-established Building Contractor based in Rochester, Kent and primarily operating in the South East.
We have a vacancy for a Full-time Accounts Administrator. The role requires a proficient user of Sage 50 Accounts, computer literacy with excellent Excel and Outlook skills. A knowledge of the building industry would be an advantage but not essential.
Duties will involve:
• Maintain the sales and purchase ledgers
• Credit Control
• Experience of dealing with customer and supplier queries
• Performing bank and supplier statement reconciliations
• Calculating and submitting VAT and CIS Returns to HMRC
• Processing payroll through Basic PAYE Tools – RTI
• Running Month end reports and any other Ad-hoc reporting
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director
Preferred hours of work 9 am - 5 pm.
Applicants should possess excellent organisational and communication skills, along with a confident manner and be able to work independently as well as within a small team.
Applicants must be AAT level 3 or 4 qualified.
