Senior Scrum Master

Overview:
A City based (EC3) Fintech company with a revolutionary software product, set to change the Banking Industry, are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Scrum Master on an initial 6 month contract to support the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything to delight their customers.

Role & Responsibilities:

-Provide support to the team by leading by example
-Guide and Coach the Scrum team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices
-Assess the experience levels within the team and provide support and coaching
-Facilitate getting the work done
-Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
-Assist with both internal and external communication, improving transparency
-Support the Product Owner with managing the product backlog

Essential Skills & Experience:
-First and Second or Third Level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, PSM II, PS III, CSP, CTC)
-2 years experience as a Scrum Master
-Experience of PSD2 and Open Banking
-Experience of multiple scrum teams in a variety of different environments (team sizes, organisations, businesses)
-Good skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, empowerment, continual improvement
-Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach
-Ability to distinguish between what is scrum` and what isn`t scrum`
-Fintech or Financial Services background

Preferred Skills and Experience:

-Knowledge of the technologies used by the team: Kafka Stream, Hadoop, Java 8, Core Banking, Payments and Cards, IOS/Android
-Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, Nexus, LeSS, SAFe
-Previous experience as a collaborative leader

Qualifications
-PSM I, PSM II, PSM III, CSP, OR CTC

Package:
-£475 - £525 per day or £80,000 - £85,000
