Purpose of Role
We are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our expanding Borrower Sales Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive team in a fast-paced market.
Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Business Development your role will be responsible for pro-actively seeking new business with clients/brokers.
You will join a hard-working team where we encourage everyone to expand your knowledge and always improve your skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing applications from initial enquiry to acceptance of funds
- Building relationships with a variety of business owners, brokers, and individuals via telephone and email.
- Liaising with Case Managers on a daily basis
- Building and managing your portfolio of successful brokers and borrowers
- Handling complex scenarios
- Consulting with clients/brokers on their specific requirements and ensure that time frames are met
Requirements
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a sales role
- Strong business acumen and enthusiastic about working in an innovative area of finance
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- The ability to work well under pressure
- ‘Think outside the box’ attitude and suggest changes to improve efficiency
- Quick to learn, understand and explain products
Desirable but not essential
- Experience in the finance industry
