Farrer Barnes is working with a large FMCG business based in Ashford. This business is a very well respected employer and would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a senior role within an international business.
The main responsibilities for this role will be:
- Identifying opportunities to ameliorate the financial control environment and lead implementations in line with regulations
- Leading a team of 9 employees, concentrating on strengthening the financial controls of the business.
- Ensuring compliance with UK and US regulation including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Ensuring the integrity of SAP BW reporting across the complex system landscape
- Monitoring the UK balance sheet, providing detailed analysis to the CFO of the risks within
- Managing the Financial Control team whilst investigating any anomalies presented by various company controls
The ideal candidate for this role will be fully qualified ideally from a Big 4 background and will be used to working within a large international business. Experience of SOX compliance would also be preferable.
