Chalkwell Coach Hire is a family run business that has served the public for over 85 years and is committed to providing a professional service with the personal touch.
We are currently looking for a number of full time bus and coach drivers to join our growing driving team in Sittingbourne.
You should be:
• a confident person with good customer service skills who enjoys working and dealing with people
• an excellent driver - you must drive regularly in varied environments and at different times of the day
• enthusiastic and flexible to the needs of the business
• able to work confidently on your own and handle cash responsibly
We also have vacancies for term time only bus, coach and minibus school drivers in the Swale and Ashford areas.
Interested applicants must have a PCV Licence (cat D or D1) and have a maximum of 6 points on their license.
A driver’s qualification card is also required, and a digital tacho card for coach drivers is preferred but not essential.
For school work a valid DBS is required, which we will arrange for the successful candidate.
Job Type: Full-time / Term Time / Casual
Starting rate of £9.60 an hour for all staff. £10.60 an hour after qualifying period with relevant experience in above areas.
28 days paid holiday and uniform provided.
