To support their continuous growth to become the global leader in their field, my ambitious and dynamic client are looking for a Business Analyst to join the progressive team. The newly created role of Business Analyst will focus primarily on revenue and capacity management with an objective to improve utilisation of service offering and profitability of profit centres.

This highly commercial Analyst role is specifically focussed on cost centre and variance analysis across Sales, Finance and Operations. They will extract data from multiple sources to analyse project specific costs and profitability.

Detailed duties;

Working closely with Finance, Operations and Sales, to identify risk/opportunity
Monthly profitability analysis of cost centres within key business functions
Review/standardise pricing structure
Develop new management tools and models
Help determine the viability of potential new business
Identify potential synergies with existing business across the entire chain of the business
Global stock distribution level analysis across the network
In order to succeed, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills;

Able to work with large data files, to extract and manipulate relevant data to present in a meaningful way
Attention to detail
Creative thinker
Confident/personable communicator
Advanced Excel skills (Power BI advantageous)
It would be advantageous to have experience gained in international supply chain setting.
It would be preferred if candidates are formally qualified/actively studying, however, consideration will be given to candidates with a strong financial analysis experience gained in a similar role. The role would ideally suit a Management Accountant with a commercial leaning who wants to move away from the more routine reporting into a purely commercial role.
