We have a vacancy for an experienced MIG welder to work for a manufacturer of metal products based outside of Ashford. The company have a high number of long term staff and are looking for someone to join their team and gain a secure role within a friendly and succcessful company.
We are looking for a candidate who has at least 2 years experience on MIG welding; you must be able to work independently and to deadlines whilst working within the health and safety guidelines on site.
You will be welding panels and components, this work can be repetitive and is reasonably basic welding, all of this work will be done in the workshop, there are no on site requirements. This role would be ideal for a candidate who is looking for a company that will enable them to progress and further their skills.
The company are looking for long term candidates that can join their team, they offer great pension and holiday schemes, as well as recognising potential in candidates and offering opportunities to progress and develop. The ideal candidate will not only have the required experience but be hard working, reliable and looking for a long term role to utilise their skills. We are willing to discuss the hourly rate, dependant on your experience.
The hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, with overtime available on Saturdays. We are looking at these roles as temp to perm however would possibly be able to offer permanent contracts to the right candidates.
