Horticultural assistant is required for a tree and shrub nursery near Gravesend, Kent to help look after a wide range of plants. Experience of growing is an advantage but not essential.
General duties include: irrigation, potting, weeding, pruning and serving customers.
Requirements
Knowledge of ornamental plants an advantage but not essential
Work requires manual handling so a good level of fitness is required
Experience of fork lift driving is desirable but not essential
A willingness to learn and be part of a small, friendly team
Immediate start
Hours TBC
Rate of pay: PAYE £8 - £9.50 per hour plus holidays
