SMART Repair Technician
Salary/Rate: DOE
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Description:
We are looking for a talented and efficient SMART Repair Technician to join our leading team at our Bodyshop in Tunbridge Wells.
You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturer’s specifications, utilising modern equipment and techniques. We are an approved repairer for some of the most premium brands, with a reputation for producing work of an extremely high quality.
Qualifications:
- You will have served a recognised apprenticeship and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
- You must have previous experience working as a SMART Repair Technician or be an experienced Paint Sprayer working within a Bodyshop environment.
- You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
- Must be a strong team player with a positive, professional attitude.
Duties:
- Carry out all small to medium repairs to all makes of vehicle; small paint and plastic repairs, alloy wheel refurbishment.
- Ensure repairs are of the highest quality and completed on time.
The Ideal applicant will be able to produce high quality SMART Repairs from start to finish. You will demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques. Have a consistent work history and must hold a City Guilds qualification or equivalent. ATA qualification is desirable but not essential for this role.
Applicants will require a full driving licence and the working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
