HRGO are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to manage an Italian themed restaurant for a client just outside of Hythe, Kent.
You will need to have experience working in a professional kitchen at sous level or higher, and hold qualifications in professional cookery.
Please note this does get very busy and covers can exceed 200 per day.
Main duties will include:
Maintaining consistent food and hygiene standards,
Having total accountability for the day to day running of the kitchen,
Achieving food budget cost controls and ensuring minimum wastage
Overseeing stock rotation and use by dates of food
Participating in the staff meetings and relevant training, and to actively recruit and select kitchen personnel.
The position will consist of working 45 Hours per week, 5 days a week with early starts, weekend working and late nights.
However hours, dates and rosters may change as this is a seasonal business.
You will need to be a driver due to the location.
