Farrer Barnes is currently working with a prominent local business in aid of appointing a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The company has recently undergone positive restructring within their finance department and as such are seeking to bring in a talented Management Accountant to support the day-to-day running of the finance function.

The position itself is for a Management Accountant and will entail providing management accounting information for the site; ensuring the accuracy of costs are maintained and proactively participating in identifying improved methods of analysis to enhance the decision making processes.  Alongside the provision of monthly reporting , you will be accountable for various responsibilities including identifying innovative ways of improving profitability and developing and maintaining controls and reporting systems to improve accuracy, clarity and integrity of information.

This role would be ideal for an ambitious and driven individual who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.  The far more important factor here is that the character of the candidate is in line with the outgoing friendly atmosphere which is consistent with the general ethos of the company.  The successful candidate will be studying towards their qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) , with prior managerial experience.
