Job Title: Chef De Partie Salary: DOE
Location: Nr Hythe, Kent
HRGO are currently recruiting for a Chef De Partie for one of our clients based just outside of Hythe, Kent.
Boasting beautiful grounds and surroundings, our client is looking for a chef de partie to join a busy professional kitchen team.
This role is 5 days per week, working 45 hours per week. Shifts to consist of early starts, evenings and weekends.
Accountable to: Head Chef / Sous Chef.
Main Duties:
* Manage a section within the kitchen, with assistance of the Commis chef.
* Ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to the specific restaurant standards.
* Managing the development and supervision of the commis chefs on the section.
* Maintain a detailed knowledge of the menu.
* Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.

The ideal candidate:
* Will have previous experience in a Demi or CDP role, preferably within a fine dining environment.
* Will fully understand the importance of how their role contributes to an effective kitchen
* Lead by example
* Work collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals.
