Our client, a rapidly developing enterprise currently engaged in huge re-development projects, are seeking a Civil Engineer to join their engineering team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver port development projects from inception to completion;
* Prepare designs, specifications, drawings, risk and environmental assessments for the execution of civil and structural engineering and other port related works which are to be carried out by contract;
* Act as Project Manager under NEC ECC Contracts and as Employer under the NEC PSC Contracts act in the capacity of Principal Designer when appointed by the General Manager.
Person Specification:
* A BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering;
* Incorporated or Chartered Status with the ICE or equivalent or demonstrable competence;
* Demonstrable understanding of CDM regulations & Health & Safety Legislation;
* Minimum 5 years practice experience, post graduate;
* Good knowledge with MS Office including MS Project;
* Full UK licence and use of own vehicle essential.
