HRGO Recruitment are currently assisting a well-respected client in their search for a Copy Controller to work in their offices in Ashford.They are looking to set up a brand new production and copying team, they are innovative and creative and are looking for like minded individuals who share this passion! They work with leading, inspiring brands making every working day different to the next!
This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career with a fun and thriving organisation, initially this role will be looking after all of the copy content for a variety of brands but there will be plenty of opportunity to train and develop in areas such as design and production.
Key duties include:
* Working closely with the other members of the production team to ensure all copy is chased and all deadlines are met for a busy sales house
* Liaise with clients to chase advertising copy, by phone, and email and update the CRM system
* Check advertising copy thoroughly
* Proof and check pages before to press
* Ensure schedules are managed and met, accommodating changes to schedules if necessary
* Have an excellent telephone manner
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Fantastic organisational skills
* Knowledge of Indesign and Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat would be useful but not essential
* Ability to work well as part of a team and stay calm when under pressure
Hours of work Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00
