Accounts Assistant - Maidstone
We are currently seeking to employ a competent Accounts Assistant on a full time basis for a busy Mechanical and Electrical Contractor in Maidstone.
A minimum of two years finance/accounts experience is preferred, ideally within the construction industry.
Key responsibilities:
• Dealing with all aspects of Accounts including:
o Subcontractor applications, certificates and payment processing
o Management of subcontractor fortnightly and monthly invoicing process
o Construction Industry Scheme – Verifying Subcontractors
o Purchase Ledger – invoicing
o Some payroll duties
o Payment applications
o Company credit card analysis
o General administration duties including answering telephones
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications (VIXEN Preferred)
The successful candidate must have exceptional organisational skills, demonstrate a proven track record of excellent accounting skills, preferably within the Construction Industry, a professional telephone manner, attention to detail, a high level of computer skills, the ability to work within a team and on their own initiative and should be able to prioritise their work load efficiently.
Our company is a small successful Plumbing & Electrical Sub-Contractor based in a delightful easily accessible part of Maidstone.
We can be flexible with hours to suit the right candidate.
Package will be discussed at interview stage.
