My client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Specialist Associate within the financial sector to join them to provide custody and maintenance of all assets held within the company on behalf of all members.

This is a full time position, Salary £24,000-£26,000

Main Duties;

Provide a high quality and efficient service in the handling of all Members' agents and their Members' affairs

* Manage market. Provide technical support to the Market regarding capitalisation, corporate consolidations, complex FAL capital structures and non-standard requests for FAL re-arrangements. Close liaison with Legal Department, Tax Department and Market Finance.
* To support the bi-annual Coming-into-Line process and bi-annual Solvency reporting.
* Validation of instructions received from the Members' Agents for the deposit of additional funds (where required), FAL re-arrangements and substitutions.
* Ensure each member has the required capital in place to support their underwriting and meets all capital requirements as set out by and within the Analysis of FAL position to ensure it is in line with M&URs, Solvency (AOF), Capital Test, Trustee requirements and AML and Financial Crime regulations.
* Cross training colleagues and sharing knowledge
* To communicate confidently with Members' Agents and Members on operational matters around the Business Timetable and Funds including trustee rules and regulations.
* Ability to support the Transfers Team within the Custody Services Team. To keep up to date with knowledge and be able to register and settle all asset types and transfer assets to and from Fund.
* To maintain effective controls, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail whilst working to strict market deadlines and service standards
* Responsible for reporting all exceptions to the Manager
* To build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders ensuring a high level of satisfaction

* Ability to react to continual changes in market conditions and policies
* Proven ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
* Influencing & negotiating skills
* Ability to think strategically as well as focus on the detail

Knowledge

* Knowledge of business process and systems change tools and best practice principles
* Knowledge of relevant UK and International legal & regulatory requirements

Experience

* Experience of providing customer service in the Financial Sector
* Experience of working to multiple fixed deadlines
* Experience of working within the rules and regulations of Financial Crime, Anti-Money Laundering and CASS

Competences

* Working with People
* Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
* Applying expertise and technology
* Leading and supervising
