With an increased demand for support roles in our client schools throughout Gillingham, Rochester, Chatham, Rainham and surrounding areas, Supply Desk is looking for committed and effective HLTA’s to work supporting the teaching staff on long term and day to day assignments.

The Role:

Experience working with KS1 and KS2 pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis in order to facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development of children within a safe environment usually under the supervision of a teacher.

Motivation to establish a supportive relationship with the children and parents concerned in order to facilitate effective communication and partnership between school and home.

Carrying out pre-determined educational activities and work programmes ensuring that specific guidelines are followed whilst promoting independent learning to support the children’s understanding.

Encouraging acceptance and inclusion of all children with a range of needs and abilities to support achievement and development.

Promoting and reinforcing the child’s self-esteem and encourage the child to maximise their achievement and development
