The Black Horse Inn is looking to recruit a breakfast waiter/waitress, the hours are Wednesday mornings through to Sunday mornings 7am -12pm, 25 hours per week.

No till work is involved with the breakfast service. We are looking for someone with great customer service and a warm and friendly personality to greet our B&B guests in the morning. The guests are a mixture of business persons and tourists. This role will really suit someone that likes to have a chat and will make our guests feel welcome and at ease ready for their day. Numbers of guests vary from day to day, sometimes 18 sometimes 60!

Although you will not be working alone but alongside our other breakfast staff. After service you will be required to lay up the restaurant and dismantle the breakfast service areas with perhaps some light cleaning of the bar or serving stations when not busy. This role does require a reasonable level of fitness and can at times be busy and fast paced. Full training will be given for this role but previous waiting experience would be preferred and also proven excellent customer service is a must.

This is a perfect role for someone wishing to slow the pace as no evenings or weekends are required which in the hospitality industry is a rarity! We anticipate a high number of applications for this role so unfortunately if you have not heard from us to come in and do a paid trial shift within 10 days, your application has been unsuccessful.

The Black Horse Inn is a family run business and our B&B closes over the Christmas period which in turn means there are no breakfast duties, so you will not be required to work Christmas. We offer 5.7 weeks per year annual leave and company pension scheme.
