A fantastic opportunity has come up to be a part of this fresh & exciting new business on Deal Pier.
We are looking to recruit a positive and talented head chef that will take care of the day to day running of the kitchen. This location serves between 150 and 250 covers a day with a fast paced brunch style menu. The general opening times of this business are 9am-5pm with extended evening food service during the peak season from April until October.
We are looking for a motivated head chef that can prepare a modern British menu. The menu will champion local producers and suppliers where possible and will be freshly cooked and excellently presented. Although this is not a fine dining establishment, an excellent quality food offering is essential.
There is a brand new, well equipped kitchen and the successful candidate will be involved in menu development, stock control, ordering, sourcing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and maintaining financial budgets. There will be a small team of chefs, so managing, training and developing your team will be an important part of the role too.
The right person for the job will have a solid career history within professional kitchens, have a genuine interest in flavoursome food and customer experience and be fully committed to making a success of this kitchen and popular location. There are genuine career prospects for the right person as they continue to grow and develop the business.
