Are you looking for an opportunity to further your finance career within a reputable firm? Well you’re in luck! Our leading client are looking for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join their busy team based in Dartford. This is a great role, as not only is the team extremely friendly, it’s a dynamic environment with a fast-paced, varied work load. The role will have responsibility for processing the sales orders to invoice level and to collect the trade debtors’ accounts in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities of the Sales Ledger Administrator;

• Processing of orders to invoice level
• Process and reconcile bank statements to finance system
• Investigating and resolving debit notes and queries
• Loading of approved new accounts on to sales ledger
• Notification of credit limits and account terms to customers
• Maintaining and updating customer data
• Establishing firm but friendly relationships with customers and regularly contacting them via telephone/email to qualify invoices becoming due and to collect due accounts
• Liaising with commercial to resolve customer queries
• Account reconciliation
• Producing customer credit notes, statements & ad hoc invoices
• Providing copy documentation as required
• Scanning, filing and emailing of documentation as required
• Processing of customer orders to invoice level within agreed timescales
• Daily running and printing of invoices
• Filing, scanning, archiving and posting out of documentation

• Experience gained within a finance team; Sales Ledger preferred
• Good computer skills (Excel spreadsheets, Word, Email)
• Excellent communication skills
• Influencing and relationship building skills
• Professional telephone manner
• Remain calm under pressure
• Able to multi task and work as a team
