My client is a leading manufacturing business, looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to the team, playing a key role supporting the commercial objectives of the business, driving profit growth and identifying operational efficiencies.

Working right across the business, this role will work with non-finance teams to provide comprehensive commercial forecasts and analyse all business activities, ensuring that sales, revenue and margins are accurately understood.  You`ll challenge on costs in the wider business and operational teams, providing analysis on actual vs forecast spend.  You will also take a fresh look at individual costs and pricing analysis by customer and by product, ensuring that forecasted margins are realised. Working with the Financial Controller, you`ll develop and manage KPI`s and take a lead in month and quarter end account reconciliations. You`ll have the opportunity to work with the senior management team with cyclical reporting but additionally, plenty of scope to be involved in a variety of ad hoc projects to include new customer pricing and analysis behind new contracts and
tenders. 

A formally qualified accountant is sought for this opportunity, who can display previous experience of tangible commercial analysis in a heavily product driven business. Active studiers, with a similar working background would be considered.  Advanced excel skills, to map and analyse the data and prepare various commercial reports from the information are required.  You`ll have strong interpersonal skills, able to challenge in the right ways and quickly become a valued member of the team.
