Job: New role for a Generalist Buyer, Kent area, paying circa £28k. Looking to move very fast!

My Client is a long established, privately owned UK based company. As a market leader within their industry they provide a range of high quality wholesale products along with professional service and flexibility.

Your new role
You will join the team as a Generalist Buyer, getting involved in direct / indirect spend and will really be able to work across all departments within this SME client.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience in the procurement arena and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of procurement terms and best practices.

You will be able to work in a close team and have experience working within and SME organisation.

You will be responsible for purchasing all items bought in for resale. You will be involved in evaluating and assessing new sources and products, supplier selection and some supplier relationship management.

Other Duties include:

* Expediting
* Stock control
* Assisting the import/export of goods
