Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager with a track record of working within an FMCG environment?

Our client is launching a brand new distribution centre to be based in the Dartford area and is looking for a Warehouse Manager to take overall leadership of this location on a permanent basis.

As the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for:

The recruitment and selection of team members and establishing a positive work environment for all employees.
Oversee the running of the distribution centre in accordance with the company operating procedures.
Maintain all paperwork that is necessary for the logistics and inventory control.
Fully responsible for Profit and Loss and budgetary control.
Performance management, succession planning, leading and motivating the teams.
Work in partnership with the head office buying teams and other internal departments.
Owning the end to end process of a busy FMCG warehouse.
Quality control processes.

You will need to have the following:

Previous experience within an FMCG environment as a Warehouse Manager.
Knowledge and experience of profit and loss and budgetary control.
Ability to manage and motivate a team, as well as dealing with performance management and HR issues.

Hours are 40 hours per week based on a rotated shift pattern - Day shift: 7.00am - 3.30pm/Night shift: 10.00pm - 6.30pm
