Company Secretarial Assistant
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 to 5
Bessels Green, Sevenoaks area

The Company
My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition, and are in The Times Top 100 Companies to work for.
The Role
To assist and support the Deputy Company Secretary, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Company Secretariat department and that the appropriate legal and statutory compliance is maintained for the Group and its subsidiary companies.
Responsibilities:
* Working closely with and supporting the Deputy Company Secretary in preparing and ensuring proper administration and filing for the Group's UK entities in addition to liaising with Company Secretary providers in other jurisdictions for the Group's non UK based entities
* Company Secretarial duties including filing of documents at Companies House using webfiling services, Blueprint and paper
* Assisting with the preparation and Maintenance of all company registers, records and legal documents
* Assisting with the Administration of the group's insurance programmes
* Acquisition, upkeep and administration of the Group's trademark portfolio including liaising with external lawyers
* Ensuring all signing requests are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner
* Assisting with the reconstitution of statutory records
* Researching changes in company law and the regulatory environment
* To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by the Deputy Company Secretary
Key Skills
* Proactive and positive can do attitude
* Knowledge of Company Secretarial duties and Companies House filing
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Organised and efficient
* Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
* Ability to work autonomously
* Willing to learn new areas and take on new admin duties
* Good IT skills; thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook
* Good team-working skills
Desirable Skills:
* Experience using Blueprint preferred but not essential
* Some knowledge of areas of financial services compliance such as FCA and AML
