Novia Ltd is looking for a suitably qualified individual to join our busy team, primarily supporting our administration and marketing functions. We are the UK’s leading supplier of Building Papers, and markets an extensive range of construction membrane products. We service our UK and international customer base from our site in Maidstone, Kent.
Novia Ltd has an exciting opportunity to join the team, primarily as an Sales Office and Marketing Assistant, but with the capability to assist in all areas of the business. We are looking for a highly-organised, outgoing and proactive person. The successful candidate needs to be capable of working on their own initiative, to provide a wide range of sales and marketing administrative functions during a period of growth and investment. The ability to proactively make outgoing telephone calls to customers and discuss their needs in a confident and professional manner is a prerequisite for the role.
The successful candidate will be both highly numerate and literate, and should thrive in a busy Technical Sales Office, embracing multiple tasks concurrently with utmost accuracy. An excellent telephone manner is essential and experience within a B2B sales environment liaising with both customers and suppliers would be desirable. Familiarity with Sage 50 accounts and ACT CRM software would be a distinct advantage, but all candidates must be fully proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
Applicants must have relevant experience, ideally from within the building products sector. Alternatively, we would consider applications from a graduate trainee wishing to join our dynamic and growing business, who displays the basic raw attributes we require. Full training on company products and processes will be provided.
Novia Ltd has a small sales office team and candidates must be comfortable operating within this environment. Applications are invited from candidates fitting the above profile. In return we offer a good basic salary, employee pension scheme, company bonus and 25 days paid annual leave.
Qualifications & Experience
It is preferred, but not essential, that the successful candidate should:
-Have previous work experience of working in a customer focused office environment within a small friendly team
-Have achieved a degree or equivalent in either Business or an associated technical subject
-Be familiar with Sage 50 Accounts and ACT CRM software. All candidates must be fully proficient with Microsoft Office software.
