Production Team Leader

We wish to recruit an experienced Production Team Leader for our dynamic, state of the art factory operation. We manufacture food supplement products for global supply in our BRC and GMP certified facility.

You must ensure that all resources are in place to deliver the agreed production plan whilst controlling downtime to a minimum and deputise for the Production & Engineering Manager in their absence.

You must ensure that all necessary production and maintenance documentation is completed on time and in full together with the collation of all necessary operational efficiency data.

You must be ‘hands on’ and lead by example, actively promoting the personal development of all your staff maintaining a well-trained team with open communication at all levels. You will promote a culture of continuous improvement, empowerment and a ‘can do’ attitude where all staff have pride in what they do.

Required experience

Proven management or supervisory experience in food or pharmaceutical GMP production, ideally solid dose capsules/tablets
Hands on experience of the day to day operation of processing and packaging equipment including the collection and utilisation of KPI and OEE data.
Ideally experience of HACCP, BRC requirements

Education

A good level of general education.
Ideally HACCP or Food Safety qualified
