We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Services Manager to join our business to cover the Kent region. The role supports the Assistant Director of Strategic Estates in providing a comprehensive range of professional property related services to the Trust.

You will be acting as the principle advisor on land and property matters consisting of leases, licences, valuations and providing accurate estates data in order to develop the Trust Strategic Plan and enable informed decision making.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing professional property advice including general estate management, leases, licences and other property related matters

• Development and management of all Property related Licences and Leases, SLAs and general Estates Information

• Management and updating of all estates related data utilising the MICAD asset management database

• Managing the Trust Business Rates budget and co-ordinating revues and appeals to ensure rates bills are correct

• Obtaining periodic and ad hoc professional valuations of Trust property

• Leading on the sale and purchase of land and property

• Supporting the development of the Trust Estates Strategy

• Development, implementation and monitoring of Trust Asbestos Management and other property related Policies

• Ensuring that systems are in place to carry out comprehensive condition surveys, risk assessment and audits to monitor estates service performance, analyse results and implement regimes to minimise unexpected failures, risks and legislative non-compliance.

• Sustainability and environmental awareness



We are looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:


• First Degree (hons) in Estate Management or other surveying discipline

• Minimum three years post-graduation experience working in an estate management or professional surveying capacity

• Sound understanding of leases and licences

• Knowledge of estates asset management databases

• Good understanding of the principles of property valuation and business rates

• Knowledge of the law as applied to the sale and purchase of land and property

• Full UK driving licence is essential for this role
