We have an exciting opportunity for an Engagement and Communications Business Partner to join our business to support our offices in the Kent region. The role supports the Associate Director of People to develop, manage, implement and evaluate an effective engagement & organisational development strategy which aligns with 2gether’s priorities and helps us to achieve our objectives.
2gether Support Solutions is a new, wholly owned subsidiary company of one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
At 2gether Support Solutions we put customer service and quality at the heart of all that we do. We have strong social enterprise principles and the profits we make go back into supporting our staff, improving services for patients and other community activities in East Kent.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading on internal communications activity to deliver 2gether’s organisational development objectives and in doing so creating an empowered, engaged and sustainable workforce as measured through the annual employee survey
Overseeing the internal communications of 2gether through highly effective staff engagement
Regularly evaluate the uptake of internal communications publications to ensure maximum audience reach and engagement
Seeking opportunities to both proactively and reactively communicate important messages to staff and celebrate success using all available channels
Working with partners to develop social media content and online presence
Managing the content for 2gether’s website and intranet site liaising with IT, external partners and the East Kent Hospitals communications team.
Support the 2gether team forum for staff including arranging and facilitating forum events
Delivering OD interventions to support the delivery of the OD plan and strategy in partnership with the People team and external partners.
Engaging key employees to ensure information published in employee messaging channels is accurate and kept up to date
As the successful candidate, you will:
Hold a Degree, or other equivalent qualification, in a relevant subject.
Substantial experience of working in staff engagement
Extensive experience of creating content which engages audiences
Significant experience of implementing organisational development strategies
Considerable experience of influencing behaviour
