Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are a dynamic, privately owned company and due to business expansion we have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a Trainee Consultant to join the busy and successful permanent recruitment team in the City of London.



About the role:

As a recruitment consultant, you're the vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding, diverse and involves: build and develop positive relationships with them, developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment.

Key Duties

* Quickly develop an understanding of the (re)insurance sector
* Learn internal procedures and systems
* Candidate Management - From Registering and interview new candidates to understanding what they are looking for
* Assisting with Permanent, Temporary and Contract bookings
* Liaising with Candidates on the telephone and face to face and eventually Clients
* Updating the details of existing candidates
* Search internal & external computer databases for suitable candidates
* Attract and source suitable candidates for live vacancies
* Advert writing and positing to relevant job boards
* Use of job boards to find appropriate candidates
* Filtering CVs for live roles
* Provide support to the Recruitment Consultants
* Input data onto a bespoke database to track candidate submission
* Arranging job interviews for candidates including preparing candidates, obtaining feedback and discussing with clients
* Preparing and issuing documentation
* Promotion of the company and personal attributes
* Manage your own work load with the assistance of senior staff
* Ensuring all work is compliant with company and legal guidelines

Key Experience:

* Experience in an office or sales environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Drive and ambition to succeed and see work through to fruition
* 5 GCSEs A* - C
