A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of Mainstreams long term clients, they are based in Erith was founded in 1952, making it the oldest cable distributor in the UK. As a privately owned plc company they are a leading UK cable supplier specialising in the supply, management and distribution of electrical cables and accessories. Dedicated Industrial, Networking, Export and Oil, Gas and Petrochemical divisions continually adapt to the needs of the ’Telecommunication’, ’Data-Networking’, ’Oil, Gas and Petrochemical’, ’Marine’, ’Construction’, ’Energy’ and ’Manufacturing’ industries.
The position available is for an Import/Export clerk to work within the Transport Department in Erith. The job entails booking of daily jobs and organising deliveries, and other administration duties. This is a temp to Perm position so experience for this role is essential.
Monday to Friday
09:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs
Hourly rate whilst on the 12 week probation will be £10:00 per hour. Upon success with the client rate will rise to £11:00 per hour with potential bonus for attendance and performance, basic salary £25,500.
Registration and selection process for this position will take place at Mainstream Sittingbourne, on success you will be contacted to have an interview with our client in Erith, where they will make the final decision.
